We had a lovely Holiday and New Year’s….without a faucet in the kitchen. Sigh. That’s ok, we had good friends over and had a wonderful fondue! A 3 year New Year tradition…very fun!
I found someone to solder the break on the old sink. We put it in and as Rex tightened it down….PAFF! Broke! Again. [...]

Well, I’d love to say this “little fix it job” is over, but holy cow! Who knew!
 We began with a little leak..the sink dripped…a lot! We figured it was time to change all of the washers (that happens after 6 years…they need a little fixing). So, we went to the hardware store and got washers. [...]

We seem to be doing a lot more organizing and purging than remodeling. We have a heap of yardwork to do and I think phase 2 of the side yard maybe begin soon….the rest will probably have to wait until next summer unless we get a burst of energy this spring.
