It seems criminal that a beautiful house like that could be demolished. Shame on the clueless owners!

Not to shamelessly promote my sites but the Vintage Shasta Trailer Forum is a good site for someone that is looking to buy or just starting a project. Vintage "canned ham" trailers are much the same so just because we have a Shasta focus doesn't mean that someone cannot benefit from the information there. There are some quick articles I have written and collected on there about buying and restoring a vintage trailer... http://vintageshasta.proboards.com/

Another great Shasta blog is Jeremy's Red Dirt Shasta... http://reddirtshasta.blogspot.com/

Darcy and Paul's is great too... http://shastarestoration.blogspot.com/

Flyte '63 is quite nice... http://flyte63.blogspot.com/

If you are going with a Airstream or Airstream like trailer I would visit the http://www.airforums.com/
Probably the best Airstream-centric site out there.

I also like Frank's Anna Lumanum blog... http://annalumanum.blogspot.com/
He also has a shop blog... http://frankstrailerworksblog.blogspot.com/

I like blogs that do the full documentation thing. Mike did a good job on his 66 Aristocrat... http://66mainliner.blogspot.com/

There is also a lot of info on Repairing Yesterdays Trailers Forum... http://repairingyesterdaystrailers.yuku.com

K- I don't watch TV but I do watch shows oninle that have been recommended to me. I keep hearing about this show and am beginning to feel a bit left out.I have heard it's worth it for the fashion alone. Guess I will have to break down and start season one!

That is SO true! Sadly, "updating" and renovating have become the norm. It would be nice to stop people before they destroy great interiors!

I am looking at real estate around the country researching a move and I am saddened at how hard it is to find an unmolested MCM kitchen or bath. Ads tout MCM charm or style but then it's all granite counter tops and cheap new cabinets.

I really like that Frank Lloyd Wright gingerbread house! Very well done, such a great idea!

Living Christmas trees are fun but I have a warning for you if you do choose to get a real tree: My aunt had her house burn down because the tree caught fire! She gave a child a candle to hold and she got busy doing something else, next thing she knows the front room is ablaze because the child had lit the Christmas tree on fire.
Keep fire AWAY from real Christmas trees, especially when they are dry!
