I have been miserable at houseblogging and no particular reason. The neighbor has given me approval to blog a bit of their renovations….kind of interesting since they have our house (blonde brick ranch) with an extra story. We seem to be doing a lot more organizing and purging than remodeling. We have a heap of yardwork to do and I think phase 2 of the side yard maybe begin soon….the rest will probably have to wait until next summer unless we get a burst of energy this spring.

I thought you renovation enthusiasts would be interested in the ongoing “eminent-domain” uproar and would be interested in the backlash, according to the “Wall Street Journal” WSJ.com – Eminent-Domain Uproar Imperils Projects (the WSJ which is where I found the house bloggers to begin with!).
