Follow up on the chairs

We have had a funny week – hubby had strep throat, and we had some funky (but thankfully not too expensive) plumbing issues. So, now that we’re out of it, I can FINALLY follow up on the fabulous Modernism show that was TWO WEEKS ago (sigh, I really have lost track of time!).

Our chair (which you’ll find here) came from HealthWorks, a fabulous company that does cabinetry, kitchen design , Upholstery and millwork and they have a great knowledge and love of Mid Century style. Pat, does some awesome upholsterly and so along with our chair, we’re going to have her redo another one we have in our living room!

However, she does have some FABULOUS chairs available that I thought you Mid Century folks would like to drool over and buy! She’s VERY reasonable and best of all loves to have her chairs go to a good home! 😀

#4 – Detail of Kitchen handles from other house

My friend over at Ranch Handy posted about this Kitchen (not hers) quite some time ago, but I’m not sure she ever found these handles…aren’t they cool? I also LOVE the knotty pine cabinet doors. We had a ton of this in our old house – knotty pine built ins and we loved it. Even when we ripped out a wall with closets between two very small rooms, we carefully saved all the lumber. The
