Go in our place! Two events – San Diego and Denver

We are still getting settled, so bear with us while we get organized. However, there are two events I didn’t want you to miss:

This upcoming weekend in San Diego is the  Tiki Oasis Extravaganza – sounds like a ton of fun! If someone goes, please send me some photos! It looks like a lot of the events are sold out, so can’t wait to hear how fabulous it is!

Here in Denver, the last Saturday of August is the 2010 Arapahoe Acres Home tour information available on the MidMod Redo Blog.  Apparently a book will be available as well, so be sure to check it out on the official website!

A perfectly preserved 50's kitchen

Partially because they have taken such fabulous care of it and maybe because they haven’t done any upgrading, the kitchen is like walking back in time: There are more photos on my flickr page…but I just thought it was fabulous (funny because the Sister there wasn’t really impressed at all when I
