I got to thinking today about what has made our house more of a 50’s home. I think part of the challenge of living in any period house is to try to keep within the time, but to update it and make it your own. We love driving Route 66 and each time we find new sites and fun finds and our favorite on the last trip was Pops in Arcadia Oklahoma. Not only is it a fabulous piece of retro architecture, it’s also a really really fun place to visit!
