Styles of "plain" 1950's blonde brick ranch homes

I had every intention of doing more research before this post, but the chaos of summer and my general laziness have prevented it. So, here’s my question (maybe this will save me some legwork). Our neighborhood is full of 1950’s blonde brick ranch homes. There are also modern mid century homes, bungalows and all of the generally “popular” styles of homes, but in particular I’m interested in the style we live in. Here’s a “typical street”:

Here’s a particularly neat house right down the street from us:
So, what style are they (including our house in the header)? Are they a bunch of different styles? Where can I find info on builders for this period! Help!
