Kindred spirits at Retro Renovation

Check out Retro Renovation where they certainly seem to share the same vision we do! With great pictures from 50’s books and magazines, they are helping people to authentically recreate 40’s-60’s interiors! And they aren’t even slaves to the modern style! Hooray!

Check out this kitchen…and their suggestion for kitchen cupboards!

Well, I’m embarrased to admit that I can’t remember where I found this…I THINK on Ward-O-Matic, but The Swank Pad has some really cool links if you’re a big fan of mid century stuff!

So, there’s your “fix” for neat midcentury stuff! Hooray! I’m still working on “remodeling” the website – so stay tuned for more!

I was particularly interested in the front of the house and 1950’s landscaping! It’s amazingly difficult to find any (if you have any sources, I’d be thrilled!) The interior photos are fantastic (I have a few more) and I could post

It was designed and built (in 40+ hours) by the folks at GardenMelodies.blogspot.com – and I just popped over to their blog and you can buy the plans to build your own! Fantastic – not sure if I could bring
