Ultra Lounge music series – a must have!

Ultra-Lounge is a series of compilation CDs 1BachelorPadRoyale-PlayboysThemereleased by Capitol Records, predominantly featuring music genres such as exotica, space age pop, mambo, television theme songs, and lounge.

Each CD features detailed liner notes along with two related drink recipes, tips on how to serve drinks to guests, and often photographs of sculptures made out of bartender items and other objects.

The series started in 1996, but as of 2009 the newer releases have been made available only in digital format.

We need window help!

Well, here’s the update from our world. Last month we acquired a good window air conditioner that we can have installed for practically nothing. However, we have side opening windows, so we need to replace them – and frankly they are metal, which on a brick house is deadly for heat efficiency. So, we’re switching to vinyl. Isn’t this totally adorable? Wow! if I hadn’t vowed to give up my gingerbread house addiction, I’d make this one this year! 🙂 And if you haven’t noticed, we’re completely broke!
