Sadly, the Coney Island has gone out of business in Bailey, but the dog is for sale for $500,000 – it can be moved! So, readers out there, who’s looking for an income – wouldn’t this be cool?

I went to a great presentation by our local utility company (rather a guy they hire) who talks about how to save money and help preserve the environment. Great talk! I might email him and see if I can link to his powerpoint on my blog (stay tuned for that). But one point that came up was how replacing your windows is NOT the best for the earth OR your house. Ok, this is LATE – but we’ve been madly searching for a new chair (pictures to come of that, so far failed, hunt) but here’s our fabulous sofa find: Yep, $35 on Craigslist. Skippy eh? Now, it needs recovering because of some “cat damage” on the arms, however we have 3 cats ourselves who are “learning” not to scratch it.
